If the pandemic was not enough, the first game after confirmation of the title, on July 2, 2020, left a bitterness in the mouth. Manchester City, the only team that managed to persecute well the overwhelming Liverpool, made the traditional “guard of honor” before facing the new champion (See the photo below). Aligned, City players made a corridor and applauded while Jurgen Klopp's team went through the middle.
