Joy resided in his character: a clown mask and a short -haired suit. It was the perfect magnet for children since the eighties. This Wednesday, his death has been confirmed at age 59 after infected with COVID-19 that aggravated his delicate state of health.
Before being a friendly fighter, he had a character who frightened from the name. Silginar Jr. was his nickname, with whom he debuted as a professional in 1982, in honor of his father, who also went up to distribute blows to the quadrilateral. But the idea of Herbert Palafox, his real name, was to be the hero of the children and that is why he was inspired by the famous Brusillín clown, who died in March 2021. Children's songs and the bearing of the humorist served the fighter to adapt his identity. The golden mask had two stars in his eyes, a smile drawn and his head showed his hair, something atypical in the world of Mexican wrestling. Then he founded with two other combatants a trio taken from an old Disney movie: the fantasy trio. He joined the characters super mouse and super Pinocchio. They were third champions and it was a boom In the fighting sands in Mexico.
In the quadrilateral, the fighter toy fought against other Mexican idols such as octagon, the parka and the Aguayo dog. He won more than one hundred fights in masks and hair bets. He dedicated 37 years of his life to travel throughout Mexico to fight. “I was going to fight and I wanted to kill me. Super Doll traveled to the United States at the end of January to encounter fans. He was seen in a wheelchair. And at the beginning of February he went into the hospital. One of his children, through his Facebook page, reported that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Already on February 9 the main wrestling companies, the CMLL and the AAA, reported their death. The children who were taken to the sands to see Super Doll 30 or 20 years ago, today shared the photos they managed to take as adults with the fighter.
